Loss of dial tone is primarily caused by a wiring problem. If the wiring in question is premise wiring located on your property, the responsibility and cost to repair it is the sole responsibility of the owner or landlord. However, if the loss of dial tone is caused by wiring outside your property, the telephone company is responsible for repairing the damaged or faulty wires. If the problem with the wiring is on your property, you can also call us at "1-888-300-3954" and we can refer you to a qualified technician to fix your wiring. Repairs to wiring on your property and any expense associated with that are the responsibility of the customer or landlord.
